10. Forces

Using forces is easy. To lay forces you've bought in a sector, go to the Force Management screen and enter the number of mines or drones you want to leave in the text box next to the kind of force you want to drop in the sector. Then click the "Drop/Take" button and the number of forces you entered is left active in the sector. If you just want to lay one force at a time , there is an "[x]" beside every type of force that, when clicked, drops one force of the selected kind in your current sector. To pick up forces you previously laid, go to the force management page, edit the numbers to fit your needs, and press the "Drop/Take" button.

You can also refresh your own and your alliance's forces that are in sector to keep them from expiring. To do this, all you need to do is just click on the 'refresh' link on the current sector screen for the forces you wish to refresh.

There are three differents forces employed by ships to attack, defend, and warn. Mines, Combat Drones, and Scout Drones. Each will be covered here to give you a better idea of how to put them to good use.
